Yeah, first week into classes and I have a cold virus thingie, AWESOME TIMING GO ME!

I spent half the day being miserable and playing dos games, half the day watching TV and switching between SNL and X-Men 3 (the mediocrity makes me cry, but at least I get to look at Hugh Jackman. MMMMM. Hugh Jackman. -dreamy face- )

And then I was like "Oh man since X-Men 3 was only mediocre I have to find something absolutely terrible to watch" and then I thought for a little and realized that I have never seen any of the Mortal Kombat movies. And Mortal Kombat 2 has that awesome line that someone stuck up on youtube between Kitana and her mom and that pretty much made me watch the entire damn thing.
I do some searching and LO AND BEHOLD some kind soul has posted the entire thing on youtube! No need to wait for a torrent or anything, awesome!

Well, Mortal Kombat 2 was terrible.
[link] said it best. Within the first five minutes of the film, NINJAS THAT ARE ON FIRE DROP DOWN TO EARTH THROUGH HOLES IN THE SKY.
I was like "DJLFKLDFJDFLKJDFJ AWESOME" and then I realized that the special effects were awful, and I cried inside. IMO, if you're going to have NINJAS on FIRE drop down from HOLES IN THE GODDAMN SKY you'd better spend a zillion dollars on those effects. BUT NOOOOOO.

Also, needz moar Sub-Zero/Scorpion/Raiden being awesome.
I'M SORRY, IF YOU CAN SHOOT LIGHTNING AND SHIT THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT HAVING IT SPAMMED ACROSS THE SCREEN AS NINJAS ARE FLYING THROUGH THE AIR AND IN THE BACKGROUND EVERYONE ELSE SPAMS THEIR FATALITIES (plot be damned, I'm having none of it).

I admittedly have not seen the first Mortal Kombat movie, so I can't compare quality/plot(lessness)/whatever.
To be honest nobody cares about Mortal Kombat's backstory, the point is to see gallons of blood and awesome finishing moves. And there wasn't enough, imo. Get rid of that shitty excuse for plot, nobody cares about love stories or w/e or family or believing in oneself or the supposed tie in with the game plot (no1 cares), the point is to kill things in awesome ways. AWESOME WAYSSSSSS

Excuse me while I run around my apartment and pretend to kill the ninjas trying to open my door (but can't because the doorknob is finicky) before they get pissed and just bust their way inside.

P.S. For my fatality, I ttly grab a furby and PUNCH IT INTO SOMEONE'S FACE WITH ENOUGH FORCE THAT THEIR HEAD EXPLODES LIKE THAT ONE GUY'S IN THAT HEAD EXPLOSION SCENE FROM SCANNERS
